Best Time To Start a Pool Project In Texas

Now that the new year has begun many start to plan for the home projects that lay ahead. In Texas much of the state, especially east Texas, it doesn't freeze most of the year. Occasional frost is about all the ice we will see. In Tyler, for instance, the summers are hot and oppressive; the winters are very short, and wet. Over the course of  the year, the temperature typically varies from 38°F to 94°F and is rarely below 26°F  however it does get above 100°F on a semi regular basis for about 6 weeks.  Depending on the model of pool it takes an average of 6-8 weeks to finish a pool project. If you add out buildings and landscaping it can take a bit longer. By May you can start swimming and by June it starts to get hot. If you start your project at the beginning of the year you can get your project done by the season when you will want to swim the most. If you add a heater or hot tub to your design you can swim year round. If you've been looking to start a project get it going. Call us today for a home visit.
